UFO Alien Invasion is a turn-based war and strategy game where the goal is to fight an alien army that is trying to take control of the Earth.

UFO Alien Invasion is freeware under the GPL licence, inspired by the X-COM saga. The code can be downloaded free of charge.

UFO Alien Invasion is a war game. The goal is to create a base and command a unit specially created to neutralise alien attacks.

The game is turned based and each member has a set time which is used up progressively faster or slower depending on the actions you take (shoot, walk, etc.). Once your squadron’s time is spent, the aliens’ turn begins.

To increase the attack potential of the command units, you can take samples of the alien troops (from buildings, weapons, etc.) and analyse them in labs. When you have enough samples, you can create high-technology alien weapons that are really useful in combat.

UFO Alien Invasion lets you play in multiplayer mode over the Internet or LAN and despite its low requirements, it has good graphic detail.
